For several years,  the Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy High School sent students over to its brother school, B.E.S.T. Academy High School, for JROTC classes.  Due to its growth, CSKYWLA decided it was the time to establish its own JROTC unit.  The Eagle Battalion established its nest at CSK in the fall of 2013 becoming the first and only all female JROTC unit in Atlanta Public Schools.  Now in our second year, the Lady Eagle Battalion is poised to reach new heights by building on the strong foundation established by the first battalion staff.  Boasting 138 intelligent, courageous, strong and beautiful cadets, we are working hard to put the Lady Eagle Battalion on the map!
